In this blog post I will be reviewing 5 products which I keep repurchasing again and again. I have normal-oily skin and I always had hyper pigmentation problems. But these 5 products worked wonders for my skin.
1. Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face wash
Any Indian girl would have had at least one tube of this product in her life. Yes, Himalayas face wash is a huge hit in India especially among college goers. I have heard a lot of people praising this product and so do I. It does a decent job of cleaning your skin, after all, what more can you expect from a cleanser. It gives a clean and fresh feeling to your skin, and maybe that is why this product was a huge hit.
2. La Shield Sunscreen Gel
I got introduced to this sunscreen by a dermatologist back in Chennai, when I told her that most of the sunscreens I have used made my skin oily, dull and greasy. She recommended this sunscreen to me and the best part about this sunscreen is that it works like a primer. It does not make your skin oily, spreads onto your skin like a powder or like a silicone based primer. And it perfectly guards my skin from harmful rays because it has SPF 40 with PA+++ Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB. The only drawback is that, this sunscreen is available only in certain pharmacies in Chennai and it is always out of stock when I try to buy it online.
3. Aloevera Gel
This product is my all time favorite. Alovera gel is hydrating and gives a cooling effect to your skin, also, if you have sun burns or rashes, it is said to treat and heal them. I use this everyday in my night time skin care routine and I always wake up with soft, supple skin. I use this as a moisturizer during summers.
4. Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula
I have extremely dry skin on my hands and legs, and since the time I started using this product, I did not face any dryness. I had visible scars on my hand, due to an allergy, and after using this product, the scars diminished. I would never replace this product with another ever in my life. I use it only during the night mainly because it does not have SPF.
5. Nivea Lip Butter
Nivea lip balms have worked amazingly well for me. I use this lip balm everyday and it does its job well, it keeps my lips well hydrated.
